Serie A giants Milan are currently in talks with Premier League side Chelsea for midfielder Carney Chukwuemeka.
The Italian side have been linked with a move for the midfielder in the past too but it seems as if the move is now making progress.
Gianluca di Marzio has reported about the Rossoneri’s pursuit of the midfielder, with talks underway between Chelsea and Milan over a move. The Blues have to sell players by the end of this month and it seems as if Milan could sign the player on an initial loan deal with the option to buy him permanently.
The 20-year-old had joined Chelsea from Aston Villa two seasons ago but he hasn’t quite made a mark due to injuries and has never been a regular in the first-team. Last season, he could play only nine games in the Premier League and scored once, assisting once.
Chelsea and Milan have already conducted deals like those involving Ruben Loftus-Cheek, Olivier Giroud and Fikayo Tomori in the past.
