Serie A giants Milan are facing further ego battles in their boardroom as they look to hire a new sporting director.
Daniele Longo has reported that with the move for Fabio Paratici now having paused, there are reflections going on at the club. They are going to take the weekend to make a decision.
Igli Tare is lying in wait and he knows that he has a good chance of landing the role. He is a candidate whose name has been put forward by Zlatan Ibrahimovic but it is a decision that could strengthen the Swede’s position in the corporate structure.
This is leading to a thawing of the relationship between Giorgio Furlani and Ibrahimovic and they have to resolve the issues. There are clear signs of friction amidst the two and this has likely caused a problem in the choice for a new manager and sporting director. There are several unsaid issues between the two and this is likely going to impact the decision in the next few days.
