Milan are set to rely on their new sporting director to resolve the complex situation surrounding Theo Hernandez’s future at the club.
According to a report by Daniele Longo, Milan have faced a roadblock in their attempt to sell Theo Hernandez in the summer. The star man has clearly indicated via his entourage that he wants to continue with the Rossoneri for the foreseeable future until the end of his current contract.
Milan had agreed on a permanent transfer for the Frenchman in the January window with Como for a deal worth €50 million. However, the player blocked the agreement and any future exit from the club.
Contract renewal talks have also reached an impasse between Milan and Hernandez as the club does not find his presence to be profitable due to a dip in performances.
The Rossoneri are hoping to appoint a new sporting director in the next few days and will rely on their call to finalise Hernandez’s future.
