Serie A giants Milan are now considering manager Paulo Fonseca’s future at the club, as they were held to a 0-0 draw by Genoa on Sunday.
Because of the result, Milan have now gone two games in a row without a win in Serie A and this has left them at 8th in the table and they are eight points away from the top four, as things stand.
Daniele Longo has now reported that Fonseca’s position is now insecure and he is under close observation. He is dividing opinion amongst the club directors and there is belief that while the Portuguese is courageous, some decisions have backfired when it comes to the team’s results.
While he will remain the manager for now, a failure to beat Verona this week could lead to the Rossoneri management making a decision and make the situation worse for Fonseca. Only a win can make sure that his position stays secure.
