Mike Tyson vs Ngannou vs Lesnar vs Jon Jones

Few men on the planet are more intimidating than a world champion heavyweight. Whether it be in the boxing ring or the UFC Octagon, the sheer size and skill of Mike Tyson, Francis Ngannou, Brock Lesnar and Jon Jones made them truly fearsome in their respective primes.

Sadly, though, none of them ever squared off in a fight. Ngannou and Jones came closest, but the UFC was unable to put together the sort of financial package that would have persuaded the two men to step into the cage opposite one another for a titanic showdown.

However, AI now makes it possible to delve into the outcome of fights that would otherwise be restricted to the imagination. With no limits on the scenarios that can be posed to the technology, we asked Chat GPT to predict who would walk out of a last man standing fight between the four legends mentioned above if they were all locked in a room together – and the result was a surprise.

All four fighters are iconic in their own way. Tyson is widely considered to be the most intimidating heavyweight in boxing history, while Ngannou is responsible for some of the most terrifying knockouts the UFC has ever seen.

Lesnar’s UFC career was always entertaining. While his record wasn’t flawless, when ‘The Beast’ did win, he got the job done in dominant fashion. Jones, meanwhile, finished up his UFC career as the promotion’s heavyweight champion, having previously looked flawless at light heavyweight.

Before coming to its conclusion, ChatGPT summarised the strengths and weaknesses of each fighter. Tyson was referred to as the ‘ultimate short-range killer’, although the technology warned that he would likely be vulnerable to the grappling ability possessed by both Lesnar and Jones.

Ngannou was highlighted as the biggest ‘sudden finish threat’. The AI reasoned: “One clean shot from Ngannou and the lights go out. If he lands early on anyone, he can end it instantly.” However, similar to Tyson, concerns were also raised over the ability of ‘The Predator’ to avoid grappling-based scenarios.

ChatGPT praised Lesnar for his ‘huge strength and elite wrestling pedigree’. Brock was tipped to be at his best when isolating individual opponents, but his ability to absorb strikes and questions over his conditioning were flagged as potential barriers to victory.

In terms of size, Jones would enter the room as the smallest participant by some margin. The technology, though, was quick to put out a number of positive attributes possessed by ‘Bones’. His reach, elite fight IQ and ability in the clinch were all heralded as potential difference makers for the Albuquerque native.

Weighing up all of the above, ChatGPT finally offered its prediction on who would walk out as the survivor.

Tyson vs Ngannou vs Lesnar vs Jones – Who Wins and How?

Greatest Heavyweights in UFC History

According to the AI response, Tyson was quickest out of the gates, landing a thunderous hook that rocked Lesnar. However, as ‘Iron Mike’ moved in to follow up, Ngannou blindsided him with a devastating shot that knocked the former world heavyweight boxing champion out cold.

With Tyson now out of the equation, the contest came down to the three former UFC heavyweight champions. Having witnessed what Ngannou did to Tyson, Jones looked to stay elusive and began to pepper Francis with kicks from distance. In one of the more wild moments of the fight, Lesnar came to Jones’ aid by tackling Ngannou into a wall.

Brock Lesnar in UFC

Brock appeared to be on top following that act, but Jones repaid him by launching offence of his own, ultimately taking Lesnar’s back. Ngannou halted Jon’s attack after regaining his feet. The Cameroonian was still groggy from being clattered into the wall, and it didn’t take Jones long to snatch a choke and render Ngannou unconscious.

What started as a four-way battle came down to Lesnar vs Jones. Out of the two men still in the fight, Brock had taken significantly more damage thanks to Tyson’s hook and Ngannou’s tackle and it quickly showed. An ‘exhausted and bleeding’ Lesnar went for a takedown on Jones out of sheer desperation. That decision swiftly led to the end of the bout.

Jon Jones

“Exhausted and bleeding, Lesnar tries one last takedown; Jones sprawls and lands brutal elbows. Jones locks in a guillotine as Lesnar’s strength fades until the room is left silent.”

After seven savage minutes, Jones walked out the victor of the virtual scrap.
