When Jurgen Klopp walks out of the Anfield exit door for the final time, it will very much feel like the end of an era for Liverpool.
Since the German took over back in 2015, the Reds have won their first-ever Premier League title, another Champions League, the League Cup, FA Cup, UEFA Super Cup and FIFA Club World Cup.
At this stage it isn’t clear who will take the baton from Klopp, though it’s a fair bet that some players will also be leaving their stage at Liverpool behind before the beginning of the 2024/25 campaign.
According to Football Insider sources, one of those will be a player of no little skill but who has been hit by incredibly bad luck with injuries, meaning Liverpool fans have never really seen the best of him.

The outlet note that the club don’t expect the 32-year-old to stay beyond this season, and that’s a real shame for both player and club.
Thiago made his name at Barcelona and was then an integral part of what Pep Guardiola wanted from his Bayern Munich side.
He’ll undoubtedly look back on his time at Liverpool with regret that he was never able to give of his best for the club.
On a more positive note for the Reds, the associated cost saving on wages should see them be able to bring in a replacement under the new regime in due course.
