Miami Grand Prix 2025 Food Prices

Miami Grand Prix photographer and spectator, Kim IIlman, has given the lowdown on what prices you’ll be expected to pay for food and drink when attending this year’s race, with some fans calling out the event for its daylight robbery tactics after the extortionate prices before tax has even been added.

On his YouTube channel, the F1 photographer provided a light-hearted commentary on the foods offered, making sure to reiterate these were all before tax. America has always been notorious for not adding tax to the prices shown, so the reveal of Miami GP’s hospitality choices indicates there won’t be any change happening soon.

Here are some of the food and drink costs, but you can see the full set in the Instagram video provided below:

  • Pizza / Costing between $16- $18
  • Pasta / Cost $25
  • Fried Calamari / $23
  • Bottle of water / $6
  • Beer / $13
  • Sushi / $6-$18
  • Mexican tacos / $18
  • Nachos/ $19
  • Glass of Bubbly / $27
  • Bottle / $130

Fans Fury Over Miami GP Food & Drink Prices

Somewhat unsurprisingly, fans were straight in the comments to give their thoughts, with one claiming: “I guess I am fasting during the GP then if I ever get to go.”

Another said: “What a joke. It’s going to cost you an arm and leg just to enter. Now you have to give something else if you want to drink or eat.’

It seems like the added tax after is also a constant source of scrutiny, with one fan commenting: “Not having the advertising include taxes is such a strange thing I want to get drunk and eat pizza, not do algebra.”

One fan commented and compared the prices to another sporting event, stating: “Same prices as an NFL game.”

Food and drink during any sporting event around the world has always seen a massive difference to the everyday price. Stadiums and facilities can do this for simple reasons such as convenience within an event to limitations of no other option when inside a stadium, allowing vendors to then hike up prices to premium costs.

One stadium that has fought back to make food and drink accessible during sporting events is the Mercedes–Benz Stadium, home of the Atlanta Falcons NFL team. The lower prices were purely provided to ensure fans could enjoy sporting events without worry of money costs. This came into effect in January 2025, and still gives fans hope that other facilities will soon follow suit.
