Mexico Football will face Turkey in North Carolina on Tuesday in El Tri’s final preparation game ahead of the Concacaf Gold Cup kicking off this weekend.
Mexico will be looking to bounce back after a difficult 4-2 loss to Switzerland in Utah on Saturday.
Javier Aguirre’s group will have their sights set on lifting the Gold Cup for a second consecutive edition, and a 10th total time. They are fresh off a Concacaf Nations League title after defeating Panama 2-1 in the final in March.
Turkey, meanwhile, are fresh off a big 2-1 win over United States Soccer in Connecticut on Saturday, fighting back after going down in the first minute of play and scoring two unanswered goals in the first-half to pull off the upset.
The Turks have won their last three outings, including a 6-1 aggregate win against Hungary over two legs.

Turkey Predicted Lineup vs Mexico
Turkey will lean on a pair of wonderkids in Arda Güler and Kenan Yildiz to lead their next generation, and both should start on Tuesday again.
Guler scored his fifth international goal in just his 20th cap against the USA. Fellow forward Kerem Akturkoglu scored the winner on Saturday, and the pair will hope to combine again to terrorize the Mexican defense.
Turkey predicted lineup (4-2-3-1): Berke Ozer (GK) – Zeki Celik, Merih Demiral, Sarnet Akaydin, Yasin Ozcan – Ismail Yuksek, Kaan Ayhan – Oguz Aydin, Arda Güler, Kenan Yildiz – Kerem Akturkoglu.
Mexico Predicted Lineup vs Turkey
Mexico’s strike partnership of Raul Jimenez and Santiago Gimenez has been a force since the two were paired up, and there’s no reason to think El Tri won’t go with that forward line once again on Tuesday.
Aguirre’s squad is talented and promising, with a number of young players looking to make their mark with the national team. Mexico’s backline includes a few players under the age of 25, and 16-year-old midfielder Gilberto Mora could very well make his senior national team debut on Tuesday.
Mexico predicted lineup (4-4-2): Luis Malagon (GK) – Julian Araujo, Cesar Montes, Mateo Chavez, Emilio Lara – Gilberto Mora, Edson Alvarez, Orbelin Pineda, Alexis Vega – Santiago Gimenez, Raul Jimenez.
