Kostas Mavropanos has agreed to join West Ham United from VfB Stuttgart, according to a report from Bild.

Should West Ham meet Stuttgart’s asking price of €20 million for the centre-back, the deal could go through by the weekend, it is claimed.

Yesterday, Kicker reported that West Ham would be willing to pay €18 million for the Greek international.

The 25-year-old has been a regular starter for Stuttgart for years, making 89 appearances with eight goals and two assists to his name. He has two years left on his contract.
