Mauricio Pochettino believes that it’s unlikely Harry Kane will join Bayern Munich next summer. The former Tottenham Hotspur coach thinks that the Englishman has different goals.
Speaking to Süddeutsche Zeitung, Pochettino said: “He wants to become the historic goal scorer of the Premier League. That’s his goal.”
The Argentine believes that it is more likely that Kane will move to Real Madrid if he is to leave England as there are very few clubs outside of England that appeal to the 29-year-old. This comes after suggestions that Bayern would make a move to sign Kane in 2023 when he has one-year remaining on his deal.
Ever since Robert Lewandowski left Bayern Munich in the summer, the Rekordmeister have been searching the market for a replacement. Eric Maxim Choupo-Moting has replaced the Pole this season and has done well with six goals and two assists in 10 matches. Kane currently has 12 goals in 15 Premier League games this season and is yet to win a major trophy at Tottenham Hotspur.
