After having been linked with a move away from VfB Stuttgart for months, Borna Sosa ultimately remained beyond the transfer deadline.
Speaking at a press conference today, Stuttgart coach Pellegrino Matarazzo praised Sosa for his mentality, suggesting that it might be good for the 24-year-old that his immediate future is no longer up in the air.

“I’m happy Borna is staying. He looked liberated yesterday, clarity is good for him – he’s ready to attack,” said Matarazzo.

“I don’t sense any disappointment in him – he is liberated, communicative and is ready to take responsibility.

“He is showing outstanding character – and is looking forward to the tasks ahead with us.”
