An update on the future of departing Espanyol star Martin Braithwaite has on Wednesday come to the fore online.
The info comes courtesy of transfer insider Fabrizio Romano, and points towards the Dane as having wasted little time in sourcing for himself a new club.
The name of frontman Braithwaite took its place front and centre in the Spanish media headlines on Tuesday.
As much came after confirmation was forthcoming that the 33-year-old had come to the decision to terminate his contract with Espanyol.
Making use of a promotion clause in his deal at Stage Front Stadium, Braithwaite made clear his desire to seek out a new adventure for next season.
And, as alluded to above, just 24 hours on, his next landing spot has been announced.
As per Fabrizio Romano, the one-time Barcelona man is all set to take his talents to Greece, with Olympiacos:
‘Martin Braithwaite to Olympiacos, deal agreed and here we go! Danish striker has accepted Olympiacos proposal and he’s set to travel to Greece this week for medical.’
