The Tunisian international actually denied that there had been any “concrete talks” with the Rhein-Main Eagles, but did seem to indicate that he would very much be open to a move to Hessen.
“Naturally, I respect Frankfurt,” Skhiri said, “One can see what great progress they’ve made over the last two years. It’s clear that I’m leaving. Frankfurt are playing well and it could be a good project. I feel very comfortable here in Germany. I like life here and I really like the Bundesliga. It’s fun to play here.”
