Bologna’s Marko Arnautović has now asked to leave the club amidst interest from Premier League side Manchester United.
As reported by Il Resto del Carlino, Marko Arnautović arrived at the technical centre of Bologna on Saturday to ask for a potential sale amid Manchester United’s interest in the former Stoke City striker.
The player’s bother agent, Danijel Arnautovic, has an offer of between €6 and €8 million for the forward. It is a three-year contract that includes a net salary of €3 million per season plus various bonuses.
The number meets the figures asked by Bologna to allow Arnautovic to leave the club this summer. But the Italian club insists that the 33-year-old Austrian is unsellable.
After leaving Shanghai Port, the ex-West Ham United star moved to Bologna last summer, putting pen to a two-year contract for Siniša Mihajlović’s side. Last season, he scored 14 goals from 33 matches in Serie A.
The sharpshooter is tempted by the idea of joining Manchester United, which, as the player believes, could be his last big move in a long and storied career.
