Serie A giants Inter will take on Barcelona in the first leg semi-final of the UEFA Champions League and there is some good news for them.
La Gazzetta dello Sport have reported that Simone Inzaghi took his last training session before the game and in that, it was decided that Lautaro Martinez and Marcus Thuram will start upfront together.
Thuram had returned to training some days ago and while there were some doubts yesterday, he had a very good training session and has now been declared fit to start.
The same also applies for Denzel Dumfries, who is expected to start at right wing-back and add much needed pace in the wide areas. This comes after Benjamin Pavard was ruled out for the game due to injury, with Yann Bisseck set to start in place of the Frenchman.
Alessandro Bastoni and Francesco Acerbi anyway will start, with the midfield to consist of Nicolo Barella, Hakan Calhanoglu and Henrikh Mkhitaryan.
