According to L’Équipe, three players were absent from Paris Saint-Germain training two days ahead of their match against Stade Rennais in Ligue 1 on Friday night. Marco Asensio (28), Vitinha (24) and Désiré Doué (19) were all absent from the group of players who took instructions from Luis Enrique and his coaching staff on Wednesday.
PSG were without the trio for Wednesday’s training session after they all nursed their respective injuries. Asensio is suffering from a thigh injury, whilst Désiré Doué is nursing an ankle injury. Vitinha also missed out but the Portuguese midfielder’s injury has not been disclosed.
Positive news
Despite three key players being doubts for their match against Les Rouges et Noirs, Les Parisiens have received a piece of positive injury news. Presenel Kimpembe (29) who has been out with a long-term injury continues to undergo his rehabilitation but could be set to make his PSG return in October.
