According to Florian Plettenberg of Sky Germany, Bayern Munich midfielder Marc Roca will undergo a medical with Premier League side Leeds United on Friday.
LUFC will pay an initial €12m plus a further €5m, Bayern Munich recouping more than they paid for the Spaniard in 2020. Roca will then sign a four-year contract until 2026.
Bundesliga side Eintracht Frankfurt had also shown an interest in Roca as they look to strengthen their squad ahead of a Champions League campaign next season. SGE Sporting Director Markus Krösche is a fan of the Spaniard having tried to sign Roca on loan in January.
Roca has struggled to out Leon Goretzka and Joshua Kimmich in midfield with Julian Nagelsmann at times choosing to play attacking-midfielder Jamal Musiala in central-midfield ahead of the Spanish midfielder.
The former Espanyol man has played just 974 minutes across 24 games in all competitions for Bayern Munich whilst the arrival of Ryan Gravenberch from Ajax would have limited his playing time even further this coming season.
