Bayern Munich midfielder Marc Roca will undergo a medical with Leeds United today ahead of completing a £10 million move to Elland Road, as reported by The Athletic.
The Spanish midfielder flew into England from Spain last night to complete the move from Bayern. The former Espanyol midfielder will join Jesse Marsch’s side on a four-year deal.
Roca is a former Spain Under-21 international who came through the youth team at Espanyol. An impressive spell in the Espanyol first team led to his move to Bayern after the Catalan club were relegated from La Liga for the first time in 26 years in 2020.
He struggled for game time at Bayern and will leave Germany two years into a five-year deal at the Allianz Arena.
The 25-year-old will complete his medical before putting pen to paper on a deal at Elland Road until 2026.
Leeds continue to add to their squad for the 2022/23 season. The Yorkshire club have already confirmed the signings of Rasmus Kristensen (24) and Brenden Aaronson (21) from Red Bull Salzburg.
