Hoffenheim left-back is a wanted man this summer with Premier League side Manchester United the latest team to be interested in signing the Germany international.
According to Florian Plettenberg of Sky Germany, talks are ongoing but there’s a long way to go before any agreement is reached. Hoffenheim want around €35m for Raum, who has four-years remaining on his current deal.
MUFC aren’t the only team interested in signing Raum. The 24-year-old has been heavily linked with a move to Borussia Dortmund this summer. However, BVB must sell one of Nico Schulz or Raphaël Guerreiro before funding a move for Raum.
Newcastle United and West Ham United have also shown interest in signing Raum, who was one of Europe’s best left-backs last season. The German created 13 goals in 32 Bundesliga games and completed the most crosses into the penalty area in any of Europe’s top five leagues.
TSG missed out on European football which has fueled speculation that Raum could leave this summer.
