Manchester United nearing move for Fiorentina’s Sofyan Amrabat

Manchester United are now edging close to landing Fiorentina midfielder Sofyan Amrabat.

The Moroccan has been keen on a move to Old Trafford throughout the window and has, in recent days, rejected attempts from the likes of Galatasaray and Fulham, as he waits for United to thrash out a deal with La Viola.

With other outlets and journalists stating that Fiorentina are opening up to loaning out the midfielder, TGR Rai’s Sara Meini has reported that Amrabat will leave La Viola on deadline day today, while echoing what has been reported by other journalists that Sassuolo’s Maxime Lopez will be his replacement and work is being done to sign the Frenchman already.

Fulham had made a late offer for Amrabat but that was put on hold. Initially, Fiorentina only wanted a permanent sale and have now opened up to other options, with the player pushing to leave the club and head to Old Trafford.
