Manchester United have made an offer to sign Lazio’s Sergej Milinkovic-Savic.
La Repubblica’s print edition carries a report about United’s interest in the Serbian midfielder and it claims that Milinkovic-Savic’s agent Mateja Kezman has brought an offer from the Red Devils for the Biancocelesti. Some members of the Serbian’s entourage were present at Lazio’s recent league game against Verona recently.
United’s offer is at €55 million but it is far from what Claudio Lotito wants. The Lazio president has set the asking price at 80 million. Kezman is in constant contact with Lazio, who could sell the player at around €65 million-70 million as well. Relations between the midfielder’s entourage and the Roman club are excellent.
Some fresh meetings between the two parties can take place in the next few days, with Milinkovic-Savic’s sale considered to be a key part of Lazio’s plans. Juventus have also been heavily linked with the move for ‘Il Sergente’.
