Manchester United expected to offer around €60 million in next bid for Rasmus Højlund

Manchester United remain keen on signing Atalanta’s Rasmus Winther Højlund and they will offer close to €60 million for the Danish striker.

Alfredo Pedulla has reported that while interest from Paris Saint-Germain has been spoken about since last night, United remain in the lead for the striker despite a confirmed liking from the French giants. Only if United give up on the chase of the player would they miss out on him, otherwise they are likely to have the lead in the chase.

It is stated that the negotiations with Atalanta will not be like the one which involved Andre Onana with Inter, and they will take some more time. United will have contact with intermediaries for the player over the weekend and will then look to make an offer of close to €60 million and that will include some rich bonuses.

Next week is when the offer is likely to be made and that is when swift developments can take place in the saga.
