Rangers are reportedly in advanced negotiations to sign Manchester United midfielder Hannibal Mejbri this summer.
The 21-year-old joined the Red Devils in 2019 but has found opportunities very hard to come by.
He joined Sevilla on loan in January, but the move turned into a nightmare as he failed to impress manager Quique Sanchez Flores.
The Tunisia international featured in only six league appearances, with five of them coming off the bench.
But despite his failed loan move, Mejbri has reportedly sparked interest from two ‘big clubs’.
According to africafoot, Danish club FC Copenhagen are keen to secure a loan transfer with an option to buy included.
However, Rangers are reportedly in pole position to secure his services as they are in advanced talks to sign him this summer.
The Gers were highly impressed by his excellent performance during the recent friendly against United,
Manager Philippe Clement has made the Tunisian a priority target for Rangers in this transfer window.
United recently sold Mason Greenwood to Marseille for a £26.6 million fee, while Donny van de Beek and Willy Kambwala have also left to join Girona and Villarreal respectively.
The Red Devils are still open to offers for seven more players, including Jadon Sancho, Antony and Scott McTominay.
