Manchester United are one of several clubs interested in signing Southampton star Tyler Dibling. The youngster has attracted top clubs like Bayern Munich, Liverpool, RB Leipzig, Manchester City, and Tottenham Hotspur.
However, according to the Daily Mail, Man United have an ace card as technical director Jason Wilcox knows the 19-year-old winger from his time at Southampton.
Dibling broke out at Southampton this season, catching the eye with superb performances that belied his age. He put on a clinical performance when he faced Man United earlier this season, earning plaudits for his showing.
Dibling is tipped to return to the Premier League even if Southampton drop into the Championship. Man Utd will try to place themselves ahead of the queue for his signature.
The Red Devils are preparing to lose Jadon Sancho and Antony this summer and need reinforcement for the flanks. Dibling is on their transfer wishlist to strengthen the ranks.
Man Utd can do better than Tyler Dibling – View
Man Utd desperately need attacking additions this summer. However, surely the Red Devils can do better than a teenage attacker who has started just 17 Premier League games.
United need players who can deliver goals and assists. Dibling has managed just two goals and no assists in 25 league outings this term.
The move would make sense if United sent him on loan to gain experience. It would be a mistake if they were keeping him for the first team. He is not capable of delivering consistently for a club of Man Utd’s stature.

Dibling needs to prioritise his career. He should stay away from the trainwreck that is Manchester United and go for a team that prioritises young player development.
At Old Trafford, he will be immediately chucked into the spotlight and might struggle to deal with the pressure. The youngster has his whole career ahead of him to earn big moves. He should not be too keen this early.
