La Liga outfit RCD Mallorca have on Monday announced a trio of injury setbacks in the club’s first-team squad.
This comes owing to developments in the club’s weekend meeting with Celta Vigo.
Mallorca welcomed Celta to Son Moix on Saturday, for a La Liga clash.
When all was said and done, the Bermellones were condemned to the wrong side of a 2-1 result, after Martin Valjent’s early opener was followed by goals on the part of both Alfonso González and Fer López.
And as alluded to above, the eventual result proved only the tip of the iceberg when it came to Mallorca’s concerns on Saturday.
Additionally, three members of Jagoba Arrasate’s side – namely Vedat Muriqi, Manu Morlanes and Takuma Asano – were forced into premature departures from the action.
And on Monday, updates on the wellbeing of all three have been forthcoming online.
As per a statement across Mallorca’s official website and social media platforms:
‘Vedat Muriqi and Manu Morlanes suffered hamstring injuries in their left legs, while Takuma Asano suffered a hamstring injury in his right leg. The availability of the three players will depend on the progress of their injuries.’
