RCD Mallorca head coach Jagoba Arrasate has on Sunday provided an update on the wellbeing of key frontman Vedat Muriqi.
For those who may have missed it, attacker Muriqi set alarm bells ringing in Mallorca this weekend.
As much came after word was forthcoming that the Kosovan had picked up a hamstring injury during a training session on Saturday.
Speaking to the media 24 hours on, it therefore came as little surprise when the subject of Muriqi’s fitness was put to the aforementioned Jagoba Arrasate.
And Mallorca’s headmaster, first, went on to confirm that the 30-year-old has indeed suffered ‘a not very serious muscle tear’.
Pressed further on the topic ahead of his side’s meeting with Real Betis on Monday, Arrasate continued:
”With these injuries, sometimes a time is estimated and there are other deadlines. Until the injury heals and we see how things progress, it makes no sense to give a deadline.”
