According to Fabrizio Romano, Newcastle forward Yankuba Minteh (19) is prioritising a move to another Premier League club after returning from his loan at Feyenoord. This comes as bad news for Olympique Lyonnais who are thought to have put in the best offer for the teenager.
This likely will rule Lyon out of the race for the forward, despite it looking as if they were in pole position only a few days ago. However, Newcastle are still keen to sell Minteh only a season after they bought him from Odense Boldklub, with Everton and Brighton & Hove Albion currently considering a move for the teenager.
Brighton have been in direct contact with Minteh, although Everton remain in pursuit of a player who has yet to make an appearance for his parent club. The right winger will have an important decision this summer as he looks to build on a promising season where he scored 11 and assisted six in 37 games for the Dutch side.
