Luis Enrique will announce his squad for the September international break next week, report Mundo Deportivo.
Spain are set to play Switzerland (Zaragoza) and Portugal (Braga) on the 24th and 27th of September respectively in the Nations League. The players called-up by Enrique will be eagerly anticipated by Spain fans as this will be the penultimate squad list announced before the World Cup in Qatar later this year.
Enrique will wait until the 15th (Thursday) or 16th (Friday) of September to announce his squad, as it will allow him to see two rounds of European competitions before making his final decision.
The national team is expected to meet at the Ciudad del Fútbol in Las Rozas on the 19th of September. Spain currently lead their Nations League group with two games to go in the competition. If they manage to stay at the top of their group, they will go to the Nations League Finals in 2023.
