As reported by Estadio Deportivo and broken by Fabrizio Romano, Luis Alberto wants to go back to Sevilla this summer.
Lazio manager Maurizio Sarri openly acknowledged to Corriere dello Sport that the Spaniard is ready to depart Rome and return to his native Andalucía to play for Sevilla.
The two clubs are currently negotiating with each other to arrive at a deal that could see the 29-year-old play in La Liga once again.
Even though Lazio are not willing to go below a fee of €30 million, the club is under pressure from both Sevilla and Luis Alberto to be more lenient with their asking price.
In addition to wanting to play for his first professional club once again, the Spanish midfielder also wishes to reunite with his family who live in the city of Seville.
Luis Alberto told the Lazio board that he is only contemplating to leave the Italian side for Los Nervionenses and no one else.
