Sky Germany report that Lucien Favre wants the coaching job at Borussia Mönchengladbach despite a lucrative offer from Al-Nassr worth €7m per year.
Per Florian Plettenberg, the contracts have been drawn up whilst the staff is currently being discussed.
Favre coached Gladbach between 2011 and 2015 before joining OGC Nice, who had also shown interest in re-appointing the Swiss tactician.
The now 64-year-old has been out of a job since December 2020, when he was sacked by Borussia Dortmund.
