Official team news has just been released for Die Schwarzgelben who face LOSC Lille in the UEFA Champions League’s last-16 second-leg.

With exactly an hour to go until kick-off, Borussia Dortmund’s head coach Niko Kovač has announced his starting eleven to take on LOSC Lille. The team from northern France will believe the can advance to the quarter-finals on home soil tonight. Their hard work in the first-leg at the Westfalenstadion paid off as it ended in a 1-1 draw last Tuesday.
Meanwhile, Die Schwarzgelben will hoping they can return to the last-eight of Europe’s premier competition for a consecutive season with victory tonight. Niko Kovac’s side put in a convincing shift before the break in the first-leg, but a tame second-half showing allowed Lille back into the game which ultimately ended in stalemate.
Tonight, Dortmund make 3 changes to their line-up which slumped to a disappointing 1-0 defeat at home to Augsburg last Saturday afternoon. Gregor Kobel remains in goals as Waldemar Anton replaces Yan Couto and joins captain Emre Can, Nico Schlotterbeck as Julian Ryerson who gets the nod over Rami Bensebaini in defence.
With Felix Nmecha (knee) still absent, the midfield is comprised of Pascal Groß and Marcel Sabitzer in the double-six. Karim Adeyemi and third alteration Maximilian Beier start on the flanks with Julian Brandt central behind Serhou Guirassy who will be keen to add to his 10-goal tally thus far.
As for the hosts, Lille lineup in their preferred 4-3-3 formation with Benjamin André as captain on the night. Former BVB full-back Thomas Meunier starts for the French club at right back. Jonathan David leads the line and will be hopeful he can create as much havoc as he did in the first-leg. No room for Ethan Mbappé as Remy Cabella starts.
