According to Florian Plettenberg, Liverpool’s interest in Eintracht Frankfurt striker Omar Marmoush is increasing by the day.
It had previously been reported that the Egyptian international has been garnering interest from the Premier League after an outstanding start to the campaign.
So far this season, Marmoush has registered eleven goals and seven assists in just 13 appearances in all competitions, with his most recent strike coming against Borussia Mönchengladbach to help inspire Die Adler into the third round of the DFB-Pokal.
One of the sides that has been tracking Marmoush’s progress is Liverpool, and earlier in the week it had been reported that the Reds had made contact with the striker’s management team.
Frankfurt had been made aware of this and have indicated that they value the 25-year-old between €50 and €60 million.
It is understood that Marmoush is hoping to move to the Premier League and would, therefore, immediately agree to join Liverpool.
As well as this, Florian Plettenberg has recently indicated that Liverpool will increase their efforts to lure Marmoush to Anfield, which could leave Frankfurt in a difficult position in January.
