According to Foot Mercato, Manchester City, Liverpool, Real Madrid, Borussia Dortmund and Paris Saint-Germain are all interested in OGC Nice’s in-demand midfielder Khéphren Thuram (22).
The French media reports that Nice will demand at least €50m for the former AS Monaco academy product, who recently earned his first cap for Les Bleus. At club level, Thuram has been an integral part of a Nice team that is set to face FC Basel in the quarter-finals of the UEFA Europa Conference League on Thursday.
His performances have caught the eyes of many of Europe’s elite. PSG Sporting Consultant Luís Campos has been following Thuram for several months and is looking to make a move to sign the player from their Ligue 1 rivals. Thuram’s performance against PSG at the Allianz Riviera last weekend impressed Campos.
However, PSG aren’t the only team in the race. In the Premier League, Liverpool and Manchester City are both interested in the player, whilst, in Spain, Real Madrid are considering adding yet another French element to their midfield following the arrivals of Aurélien Tchouaméni and Eduardo Camavinga. Borussia Dortmund are also interested in the player. Given the potential competition for Thuram’s signature, Nice are confident of potentially receiving over €60m to part with their France international.
