Liverpool have stepped up interest in Atalanta midfielder Ederson

Liverpool manager Arne Slot is looking to make additions to his midfield in the summer transfer window.

Although the Reds have Ryan Gravenberch, Dominik Szoboszlai and Alexis Mac Allister in their midfielder, Slot is keen to add more depth and quality to his squad.

According to TuttoAtalanta, Italian club Atalanta are ready to sell Brazilian midfielder Ederson this summer.

As per the report, the Premier League leaders are ready to submit a bit of €60million (£51m) for the Serie A midfielder.

Since joining Atalanta in 2022, Ederson has firmly established himself as one of Serie A’s leading midfielders.

The 25-year-old has played 131 matches for the club, scoring 12 goals and providing 4 assists.
