Lindstrøm out for at least another month

Germany’s main sporting tabloid reports that injured Frankfurt attacker Jesper Lindstrøm’s ankle injury will keep the Dane out at least another month.

Already ruled out for Friday’s fixture against Bochum, Danish attacker Jesper Lindstrøm appears set to miss Eintracht Frankfurt’s next five league and cup fixtures. According to Germany’s Sport Bild, the internal assessment at the club rules the 23-year-old out until at least the end of April. The tabloid cites its own internal sources in claiming this.

Assuming that Lindstrøm won’t be able to rejoin team training until the beginning of May, it looks as if the timeline for any potential return this season shall be rather tight. Such news obviously carries with it implications for the youngster’s rumored ambitions to make the leap to a larger club this summer.

The 2022/23 Bundesliga campaign concludes on May 27th.
