Lille OSC will look to progress to the quarter-finals of the Coupe de France as they visit Olympique Lyonnais. Les Dogues enter this match after an impressive start to the year where they have remained unbeaten, and manager Paulo Fonesca will look to continue this form with a strong starting eleven.
Fonseca will likely go with a similar team to the one that completed a 4-0 rout over relegation-threatened Clermont Foot over the weekend. The young centre-back pairing of Leny Yoro and Alexsandro has been turned to regularly this season and once again they will be trusted to maintain the defensive discipline of a hard-to-beat team.
The one surprise to be fielded by the manager will likely be the inclusion of deadline-day signing Tiago Morais as an attacking option for the team. The Portuguese winger was considered a highly promising player during his time with Boavista, and will look to hit the ground running in his debut for the club.
Lille likely lineup v Lyon
Lucas Chevalier; Ismaily, Leny Yoro, Alexsandro, Tiago Santos; Benjamin André, Nabil Bentaleb; Tiago Morais, Yusuf Yazıcı, Edon Zhegrova; Jonathan David. (OuF)
