Lille OSC are still searching for their first league victory of 2026 as they host Stade Brestois this evening. A 0-0 draw with bottom-of-the-table FC Metz has maintained the pressure on Bruno Génésio’s position as head coach, as he searches for a solution.
Génésio will be unable to call upon either Aïssa Mandi or Nathan Ngoy in the centre of defence, with both players suspended. This means that he will likely line up with a centre-back pairing of Alexsandro and Chancel Mbemba.
L’Équipe writes that there will likely be no place in the starting line-up for either of Lille’s transfer deadline day purchases, with Noah Edjouma and Gaëtan Perrin left on the bench.
Lille likely line-up v Brest
Berke Özer; Romain Perraud, Alexsandro, Chancel Mbemba, Tiago Santos; Benjamin André, Ayyoub Bouaddi; Matias Fernandez-Pardo, Hákon Arnar Haraldsson, Félix Correia; Olivier Giroud. (L’Éq)
