According to Sacha Tavolieri, Lille are interested in signing Union Saint-Gilloise striker Mohamed Amoura (24) in the summer transfer window.
The Algerian international is in hot demand ahead of the summer transfer window after an impressive season in the Jupiler Pro League. The 24-year-old is attracting interest from France, England and Germany, Tavolieri reports. Amoura has been linked with many other clubs including Liverpool in recent weeks.
In spite of interest from other clubs, Les Dogues appear to be showing the most interest in his services having sent scouts to watch him several times for Union Saint-Gilloise. As a result of several scouting missions, Lille see Amoura as a top target for the summer transfer window.
Sell to buy
Lille clearly possess a strong interest in the Algerian attacker but it may not be as simple as acting upon their interest to get the transfer done. Les Dogues will have to sell before they are in a position to make a move for Amoura – striking fears into the club that they may be too late to the party to sign their top target.
