Bayer Leverkusen are prepared to let Karim Bellarabi go into the final year of his contract.
“It’s an important year. Karim is a seasoned player,” Leverkusen sporting director Simon Rolfes told Kicker.
“At the same time, it is important for us that he remains injury-free. If he does, I’m sure he will get his games and rack up goals and assists despite the great competition.”
32-year-old Bellarabi has played a total of 279 games for ‘Die Werkself’, scoring 57 goals and providing 65 assists.
