Bayer Leverkusen have allayed fears that Jeremie Frimpong suffered a serious injury against RB Leipzig. Exequiel Palacios, on the other hand, will be out for the foreseeable future.

Bayer Leverkusen have given an update on Jeremie Frimpong and Exequiel Palacios after the two players were forced off during Saturday’s 3-2 win over RB Leipzig.
Frimpong limped off in the first half after taking a heavy blow to his lower right leg.
Fortunately for Leverkusen, the Dutch full-back didn’t suffer any structural damage and will be able to resume training next week.
Palacios, on the other hand, faces a spell on the sidelines after a scan revealed that he suffered a right thigh muscle injury during the game.
Leverkusen did not provide an exact timeframe for his recovery, saying only that he is “out for the time being”.
