Bild reports that Bayer Leverkusen are in talks with Southampton over the signing of Nathan Tella.
Bayer 04 Leverkusen have opened talks to sign Southampton’s Nathan Tella, according to Bild.
The German tabloid claims that the 24-year-old wants to join Leverkusen despite interest from the Premier League.
Die Werkself have reportedly made an offer of €18 million, but Southampton are holding out for €20 million as talks between the two clubs continue.
Tella has made three appearances for Southampton in the Championship this season, scoring one goal and providing one assist.
He scored 17 goals and provided five assists in the second tier last season on loan at Burnley.
