Kicker is reporting that the recent performances of Nordi Mukiele have not helped his case to stay at Leverkusen beyond summer.
After a tame showing against Arminia Bielefeld, the 27-year-old’s future has been cast into doubt.
Furthermore, Mukiele’s signing would not be a bargain in terms of transfer fee or the player’s salary.
It remains to be seen if Leverkusen, who started negotiations with Paris St.Germain some time ago, will reel back on their original plans.
The French defender spoke about his desire to remain with the reigning Bundesliga champions some weeks ago.
