Fielding a B team, Bayer Leverkusen crushed Molde 5-1 to finish the Europa League group stage with a perfect record.

A second-string Bayer Leverkusen side thrashed Molde 5-1 at the BayArena on Thursday evening to make it six wins from six in the Europa League group stage.
Xabi Alonso’s side were 3-0 up after 25 minutes thanks to goals from Patrik Schick, Edmond Tapsoba and an own goal from Martin Ellingsen.
After the break, Adam Hlozek and Noah Mbamba doubled Leverkusen’s lead before Eric Kitolano scored a consolation for the Norwegian visitors.
The win sees Leverkusen finish the group stage with 18 points and a commanding goal difference of 19-3.
