France’s preeminent sporting publication is now reporting that Borussia Dortmund and OGC Nice are close to agreeing on a loan deal for young BVB striker Youssoufa Moukoko.
After loan deals to Marseille and Real Betis both collapsed, it appears as if Borussia Dortmund are preparing to make one last attempt to move 19-year-old German phnom Youssoufa Moukoko before the transfer window closes at the end of the week. France’s preeminent sporting publication, L’Équipe, now reports that Dortmund and OGC Nice are in the process of working out a loan deal with a purchase option.
Moukoko has not yet made new BVB trainer Nuri Sahin’s match-day squad selection in either of the two competitive fixtures – a Pokal win and league victory – thus far in the 2024/25 cycle. Sahin is on record as having stated that he had a personal discussion with the teenage talent, letting him know that the current depth chart is not conducive to Moukoko’s needs.
