Mohamed Simakan is reported to have attracted interest from Liverpool and Atletico Madrid.
Liverpool and Atletico Madrid are interested in RB Leipzig’s Mohamed Simakan, according to Sky Germany.
However, so far there is neither a concrete offer nor negotiations with the player from either club, the report claims.
Simakan has a release clause of €70 million, but a fee in the region of €40-45 million would likely be enough to prize him away from Die Roten Bullen.
Although the 24-year-old centre-back wasn’t a regular starter last season, he feels at home in Leipzig and is in no rush to leave, according to Sky.
Simakan joined Leipzig from Racing Strasbourg in 2021 for a reported fee of €15 million.
Since then, he has made 120 appearances for the Bundesliga outfit, scoring seven goals and providing 13 assists.
