Leeds United set to sign Club Brugge goalkeeper Senne Lammens

Leeds United are reportedly set to sign Club Brugge goalkeeper Senne Lammens.

This is according to HLN journalist Tomas Taecke who claims that the 20-year-old “seems on his way to Leeds”.

However, it is said the two clubs are still discussing whether the player will move to Elland Road in this transfer window or in the summer.

Lammens started his career at the youth academy of Club Brugge. So far, he has played in four matches for the Belgian outfit, with a clean sheet to his name.

Busy transfer window for Leeds

The Whites pulled off a great feat when they beat Brentford on the final day of the season to survive in the top-flight.

However, they have been enduring another difficult campaign in the Premier League with the Yorkshire outfit currently sitting just two points above safety.

The English side are set to face a tough competition for survival but they have made a strong start to the January transfer window.

Jesse Marsch’s side have signed Maximilian Wober from Red Bull Salzburg while they are also looking to seal a bumper deal for Hoffenheim star Georginio Rutter.

The Whites have been linked with a move for Coventry City striker Viktor Gyokeres as well. But they face tough competition for the 24-year-old from Everton and Brentford.

Leeds have goalkeepers Illan Meslier, Kristoffer Klaesson and Joel Robles on their books. But they are still looking to seal a move for Club Brugge’s Senne Lammens.
