Leeds United will pay Bayern Munich €17m including bonuses for Bayern Munich midfielder Marc Roca, according to Sky Germany.
The Bundesliga side will receive an initial €12m with a further €5m in performance related bonuses. Roca (25) will sign a four-year contract with the Premier League club, receiving a substantial pay rise. The Spaniard is currently on vacation but a final commitment is expected in the next hours.
Roca joined Bayern Munich from Espanyol for €9m in 2020 but played just 455 minutes of football across 13 games for Julian Nagelsmann last season.
After signing Ryan Gravenberch from Ajax on Monday and Bayern Munich working on a deal to sign Konrad Laimer from RB Leipzig, playing time for Roca would have been difficult to find this coming season.
Roca has played just 974 minutes for Bayern Munich since his move and has found it difficult to provide competition for Joshua Kimmich and Leon Goretzka, with Jamal Musiala often preferred as a central-midfielder to Roca.
