Lazio aim to relaunch Daichi Kamada into the starting line-up following Luis Alberto’s injury but his future remains uncertain.
According to a report by Il Messaggero via TMW, Daichi Kamada could work out for Lazio as sort of a new signing this winter after the injury of Luis Alberto. Following disappointing performances during the first part of the campaign, the 27-year-old is looking to do justice to his transfer to the Italian side last summer.
The Biancocelesti were probing the likes of Bologna’s Lewis Ferguson, Torino’s Samuele Ricci and Empoli’s Jacopo Fazzini but all seemed very difficult targets which would require huge resources.
Japan didn’t call up Kamada for the Asian Cup and now he expects to start the new year with a much better attitude which might solidify his starting place in Maurizio Sarri’s side.
The Japanese was searching for newer pastures a few weeks back but now Luis Alberto’s injury will grant him a few matches as a starter to prove his abilities. His future isn’t certain but the Japanese is being handed a chance to prove himself.
