Lazio have now made their offer for Atalanta’s young goalkeeper Marco Carnesecchi.
The Biancocelesti have been probing a move for Carnesecchi for some weeks now but had not made an offer, having waited for an update on the Italian’s medical situation.
Gianluca di Marzio has reported that Maurizio Sarri’s choice for a new goalkeeper happens to be Carnesecchi, with Claudio Lotito’s club having put forward a fee of €10 million for the youngster, who had spent the previous season on loan at Cremonese and had played a key role in their promotion.
As things stand, Atalanta’s offer for the goalkeeper is much higher and the offer has been rejected. La Dea want a fee of €15 million for the goalkeeper and while Lazio know that the player will be out for three or four months due to a shoulder injury, they are now ready to invest in a young keeper.
