According to Alfredo Pedullà of Sport Italia, Lazio are closing in on a deal to sign Bayern Munich forward Arijon Ibrahimović.
It is understood that the Serie A side are in advanced talks to secure the 19-year-old’s signature on an initial loan deal from Der Rekordmeister while also covering the entirety of his salary over the course of the year.
As well as this, as stated in the report, an obligation to buy clause will also be inserted into the move, with the price set at a probable €10 million.
Last season, Ibrahimović spent the campaign on loan with Frosinone, and after registering a goal and an assist against Empoli on matchday eleven to ensure all three points went the way of The Canaries, a promising future appeared to be on the horizon for the attacking midfielder.
However, a mixture of injuries and poor form saw Ibrahimović fail to register another goal or assist across the remainder of the season as his game time plummeted.
Having also been unable to force his way into Vincent Kompany’s side, the German U20 international will be hoping to revitalise his career with I Biancocelesti.
